If you thought lake levels were low today… check out this photo from 1931!  The lake in the top is South Lindstrom, you can see the channel to Chisago (where the boat launch is today is totally DRY!  Check out the road from the Lindstrom beach over to Rose Hill Resort… that sits under about 8-10 ft of water now.  South Center being the deepest of the area lakes looks prety good at the bottom left BUT North Center looks like Shrek’s Swamp!
